Wakatipu Hockey Club
Wakatipu Hockey Club is a community sporting club run by volunteers and our home training turf is based in Queenstown. Our Club plays within the Central Otago Hockey Association (COHA) and so weekly travel is required for games in either Cromwell or Wanaka, and any other Turf that COHA might be able to book and use. COHA puts together the winter draw for all Central Otago teams and when it is ready it will be available to view using PlayHQ.
Our main season is played in Winter, from approximately April to September depending on the grade.
QLDC have been running a summer social hockey league for adults at the Multi Purpose turf at the Queenstown Events Centre. There is no social hockey through the winter.
We are a 'not for profit' sporting club - as such, we always welcome support and sponsorship. Please reach out if you can help in any way.
